OutKlaz is a group of passionate dancers from different universities in Cagayan de Oro City who shares the same love and dedication in dancing. It was formed on June 16, 2012 by Michael Medico and Ayet Gonzales — former members of Xtatic nad bboys- with the goal of contributing their own styles to the dance community as well as inspiring others to build their own.
The crew started as an all-boy-crew with 5 members—Michael, Ayet, Jonathan, Oliver and Efren, until Michael and Ayet decided to add girls in the group. Vanz Basalan, the first chick of the crew, started to have gigs with the boys and a project called “OutPlay”.
OutPlay is the first project of OutKlaz in which the crew collects and choreographs 10 different dance routines to be uploaded into Youtube and other social sites.

The crew is currently drilling for their next OutPlay project and has recently performed in Limketkai Rotunda during “The Round Up” event by Xtatic.
